Built by a Project Manager.
For Project Managers.
Genera Systems is founded and led by Eduard Szigeti, a UK construction project manager who spent twenty years watching the same preventable failures repeat themselves on project after project. The platform is what happens when a practitioner decides to codify the framework rather than keep rebuilding it from scratch.
Eduard Szigeti, Founder
Eduard is a construction project manager with a BSc in Construction Project Management, a Master's degree in BIM, and more than 20 years of real site experience across UK construction.
That combination matters. The platform is being shaped not only by technical ambition, but by a deep understanding of how projects actually behave — on site, under pressure, with constraints, sequencing issues, logistics challenges, and constantly changing conditions.
Academic Foundation
Formal training in construction project management, planning systems, and ISO 19650 BIM methodology.
Site Reality
Two decades delivering real UK projects — fit-outs, refurbishments, and new-builds across commercial and higher-risk environments.
Framework Author
Author of the 430-page Project Assurance Framework Manual that anchors the platform and every consulting engagement.
Why Genera Systems Exists
Construction projects fail for knowable reasons. Unclear accountability. Lost information. Missed compliance gates. Silent risk. These failures are almost never due to the absence of rules — the UK construction standards stack is one of the most thoroughly regulated in the world. They happen because the rules live in PDFs and the delivery lives in spreadsheets.
Genera Systems was started to close that gap. The premise is simple: if compliance, quality and safety were enforced by the software everyone already uses, most of the predictable failures would stop being predictable. The right thing would also be the easiest thing.
That principle drives every product decision. Governance built into the build.
The Project Assurance Framework Manual
The PAFM is the 430-page governance playbook at the heart of the platform. It is aligned to PMBOK® 8, ISO 19650, CDM 2015, the Building Safety Act 2022, and the full stack of UK construction legislation — translating what the standards say into specific controls that can be enforced in software.
The PAFM is also the reference document for every consulting engagement. Same framework, whether delivered as software or as hands-on project management.
Guiding Principles
- Make the right thing the easiest thing
- Enforce standards in software, not in policy documents
- Build the audit trail first, not last
- Start from real project experience, not from theory
- Reject AI hype; use mathematics where it earns its place
- Design for the person doing the work, not the person auditing it
Current Development Stage
Genera Systems is in active development. Genera QA & HS&E is the first module shipping, currently in pilot-ready development. Genera CIMS is being built on the PAFM architecture with CDE, governance, and approval gates as the first deliverables. Genera Schedule has a working prototype on 1,000-task programmes and is scaling toward 10,000+.
In parallel, Eduard continues to take on selected consulting engagements — so the platform keeps being shaped by problems real projects are facing right now.
The Direction Ahead
The long-term ambition is a UK-native construction assurance platform where governance, on-site delivery and programme intelligence share one data model, one audit trail and one governance logic. A single source of truth for UK construction projects.
Genera Systems is being built to reflect the complexity of real construction, while giving clients, principal contractors and project teams a platform capable of proving that they did the right thing — not months later through a forensic exercise, but as a by-product of doing the work.
